exibitions and awards

moments on display:

my work has been presented in a variety of gallery spaces and curated contexts, always as a way to use creativity to reflect on social themes. other than proudly showing my images, what i valued most was how they created a dialogue — between people, spaces, and the questions that shape our time. what follows is a selection of exhibitions that have marked my journey so far, with a new chapter opening this month at photo month in london.

feel the planet — degree show

YORK ST. JOHN UNIVERSITY, JUNE 2023

For my degree show I presented ‘Feel the Planet’, a project exploring the connection between humanity and the planet. The exhibition was a pivotal moment in my journey, recognised with the ‘Aesthetica Next Generation Award 2023’, issued by the international art magazine Aesthetica. This recognition also led to the publication of my work in Aesthetica Magazine, marking an important milestone in bringing my vision to a wider audience.

feel the planet pt. 1 — visions of change: echoes of tomorrow.

left bank, leeds — january/february 2025

As part of the collective exhibition ‘Visions of Change: Echoes of Tomorrow’, I presented ‘Feel the Planet Pt. I’. Exhibiting within a collective context allowed my images to enter into dialogue with other artists’ perspectives on change and the future.

feel the planet pt. ii — blue

Glasgow gallery of photography, glasgow — October 2023

For the international collective exhibition ‘Blue’ at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, I contributed a single image from ‘Feel the Planet Pt. II.’ The piece, captioned ‘Our Planet is Feeling Blue’, reflected on the fragility of our environment and the emotional resonance of colour as a social and ecological metaphor. Though modest in scale, this participation marked an important step, situating my work within a global dialogue.

x-rays of nATURE — BOTANY

FRONTEER GALLERY, SHEFFIELD — AUGUST 2023

For the collective exhibition ‘Botany’ at Frontier Gallery, I exhibited the ‘Lungs’ image from my series ‘X-Rays of Nature’. Shown among diverse interpretations of the natural world, the work invited viewers to reflect on the essential role of trees as the planet’s breathing system, situating my practice within a wider dialogue on ecology and survival.

The circle of life — new beginnings

KREIVA GALLERY, BRIDLINGTON — JULY 2023

At the collective exhibition ‘New Beginnings’ at Kreiva Gallery, I exhibited a single piece from my series ‘The Circle of Life’. This image, captioned ‘A Fresh Start for Our Planet’, reflected on renewal and ecological hope, aligning with the exhibition’s theme of regeneration and new possibilities.

being a woman — aesthetica film festival

york st. john university, york — november 2022

Through York St. John University, I exhibited my piece ‘Being a Woman’ during the Aesthetica Film Festival in November 2022. As photographers and filmmakers took over venues across the city of York, this work became part of a wider cultural event that merged image-making with critical reflection on identity and representation.
