don’t judge me

This fictional narrative explores drug addiction, not to condemn, but to reveal what lies beneath. The story follows a young woman who begins using acids to escape her problems.

At first, colourful tears reflect the contrast between psychedelic highs and hidden sadness. A jar filled with pills represents the many struggles people carry — trauma, bullying, heartbreak, expectations, and more.

As her tolerance builds, the imagery shifts: her face becomes covered in pills, symbolising the growing need for more substances. The narrative darkens as she turns to cocaine and then heroin, with colour draining into black and white to mark the loss of life and self.

At its core, this project is about awareness:

an addict is not simply a ‘bad person’, but someone in need of help, not judgment.
